SCHOLARSHIP

FRAME DRUMS ITALIA is proud to offer for the FDI festival 2011, the Frame Drums Italia Scholarship.

1 scholarship to attend FRAME DRUMS ITALIA 2011 covering the festival's fee & registration plus full accommodation including meals for the festival's period, will be awarded from a generous fund donated by “Associazione MUSICABILE” (this scholarship
does not include travel costs).

The scholarship is open to deserving non-professional frame drummers only. Applicants should send a typed letter of application stating all Your personal information and contact details with your background in frame drums along with a 3-5 minutes DVD-R (or with a usb–pen drive with a video in AVI format only, with your name clearly marked) demonstrating your playing ability of either a single frame drum style or a variety of styles. A panel of three judges made up from the FDI teacher's team will decide upon a winner.

Completed applications are due APRIL 23, 2011 (to be sent to us by this date) and the winner will be announced the first week of May 2011. E-mail for any questions.
