The Electric Berimbau handmade in Brazil
by master artisan and musical instrument builder Paulo
Nenflidio is a truely unique musical instrument. Solid
body and completely electric, the Electric Berimbau is
made of hardwoods, tunable, and has a built in wah-wah
effect with a tone control to simulate the opening and
closing of a gourd. Simply move the Electric Berimbau
to and from your body and you get the same wah-wah effect
as an acoustic berimbau. There is also a seperate volume
control. The Electric Berimbau works with your guitar
amp or PA and a standard 1/4"
cable (not provided). You can easily pug in to electric
guitar multi-effects units for a multitude of sounds.
Recommended are the Zoom
G1XN EXT and a Boss
OC-3 super octave pedal (additional
1/4" cables and batteries needed).
This is a special order item - 4-6 weeks
wait for production and shipping. Price includes Electric
Berimbau with built in wah-wah only (no caxixi, stone/coin,
case, cables, amp, or other effects).
